This issue was provided for 2 000 copies. Checking the tamps have been found defective. They destroyed the special commission. The issue used to create characters of Adomas Varnas inaugural convocation of the Seimas occasion marked. Issue sell for two days, and only for 30 sets. The rest Lithuanian Society of Creative Arts sold at higher prices. The resulting funds used for the funding of cultural events. These stamps were valid for postal use until October 1, 1922 (the day of Lithuania introduced a new currency - litas). |
